PLAY airlines’ white-label booking engine became a bottleneck, unable to meet their growing operational needs. With only 6 months to launch a new IBE in time for their first transatlantic flights, PLAY needed a custom solution that integrated with their existing systems and aligned with their playful brand.

We developed a custom Internet Booking Engine (IBE) that seamlessly integrated with PLAY’s Passenger Service System (PSS). The new booking flow prioritized simplicity, efficiency, and brand alignment, creating an intuitive user experience that made booking easy and enjoyable. Despite the tight timeline, the system was designed to be scalable and adaptable for future growth.


The new IBE was delivered on time, supporting PLAY’s critical US expansion. It improved operational control, enhanced the user experience, and laid the groundwork for future features like web check-in and post-booking journeys. Our partnership continued as PLAY’s digital platform evolved with their growth.

Frontier Airlines approached us with the challenge of increasing signups for their Discount Den membership program, which offered exclusive fare discounts but was not converting as expected. The benefits of the program were not clearly communicated, and the user journey during the booking process made it difficult for potential customers to recognize the value.


We redesigned the membership representation within the booking flow and in the profile page to make the Discount Den benefits more compelling and visually appealing. Key changes included highlighting discounts with improved visuals and restructuring the content to clearly showcase the savings for members. We also added banners and clearer call-to-actions to nudge users towards the signup process.


As a result, Frontier saw an immediate 50-60% increase in Discount Den signups and renewals. This led to notable growth in ancillary revenue and new opportunities from a larger pool of validated email signups for future promotions.
